Catalog description

Students study the fundamental principles of livestock management including technologies and management practices utilized in various livestock operations. This course may include management practices and techniques in the areas of nutrition, reproduction, genetics, health, growth and development. In addition, students will explore various marketing options and will become familiar with industry practices, equipment, and facilities necessary for the production of cattle and other livestock species. Prerequisite: Graduate standing.
