Catalog description

Students will study agriculture biosecurity, animal diseases and implications to disease outbreaks. Concepts will include production animal management practices and the implementation of safeguards that decrease the spread of infectious diseases. It covers multiple species and diseases that have potential economic and food safety implications to the agriculture industry. Junior standing. Prerequisite: ANSC 1319 with a C or better.
