Catalog description

Concepts learned at the Junior 2 level addressing the provision of nursing care are applied in maternal-obstetric, pediatric, and community health settings. Students will apply evidence-based nursing care to childbearing individuals, newborns, children, adolescents, adults, and families across diverse healthcare environments. Clinical experiences will focus on labor and delivery, postpartum care, pediatrics, growth and development, and community-based health initiatives. Offered fall and spring.
