Catalog description
This course uses a conceptual approach to explore knowledge and skills as they apply to adult patients with physical/mental acute and chronic illnesses. Emphasis is placed on therapeutic communication, health promotion, leadership, safety, clinical judgment, and nursing interventions. The role of the nurse in the care and management of patients with physical/mental acute and chronic illness is the focus of this course. Offered fall and spring.
