Catalog description

This course introduces the nurse's role as a leader and advocate in advancing palliative and end-of-life care. Students will examine holistic and culturally sensitive approaches to providing nursing care across the lifespan for diverse populations, with emphasis on equitable access to and integration of palliative and end-of-life care modalities. Psychosocial and mental health considerations will be explored to enhance understanding and application in practice. Using evidence-based research, students will integrate professional writing skills through concept analysis.
