Catalog description
This course focuses on concepts fundamental to the practice of nursing from a theoretical, evidence base. A conceptual approach is used to explore knowledge and skills as they apply to patients with basic health alterations across the lifespan. Emphasis is placed on therapeutic communication, health promotion, safety, clinical judgment, and nursing interventions. Offered fall, spring and summer (summer is limited to students in BSN/ACC program).
