This course is an introduction to general geographical knowledge for students in the social sciences and humanities. It includes the study of maps, map making, physical and human geography. It emphasizes the interaction between people and their environment, and provides a detailed study of the world's geographic regions. May be taken to satisfy University core requirement in social sciences. Offered every semester.
