Catalog description

*Level 2 Professional Education Course. Supervised field experiences are an integral part of the Elementary Education candidate's apprenticeship experience. The Junior I field experience block is designed to provide opportunities for candidates to apply course concepts in real environments. The Junior I field experiences relate to current professional education coursework, as well as national, state and institutional standards. Required activities and assignments provide candidates with the opportunity to connect theory and practice and prepare candidates for daily classroom responsibilities. 45 field experience hours are required for successful completion of the course. Offered fall.
