*Level 2 Professional Education Course: Requires Admission to an Education Program. This course addresses the responsibility and challenge secondary teachers must undertake as they strive to meet the needs of diverse learners in their content areas. Teacher candidates will explore teaching and learning strategies that support the development of a wide range of literacy skills to create challenging learning opportunities for all students. 15 field experience hours are required for successful completion of this course. Offered fall and spring.
