Catalog description

This course focuses on the historical, philosophical, and social foundations of early childhood education. Theories of child development and learning are discussed. Candidates study various models and explore research-based practices for designing, organizing, and implementing developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive experiences for children age birth - Grade 2 in inclusive settings. Offered fall.
