Catalog description

This course explores victimology as an evolving discipline. It will examine the development of the discipline, the economic and other costs of crime to victims, the use of victimization surveys, services and programs for victims and the implications of the victim-offender system on the criminal justice process, as well as the societal response to, and description of, victims. Offered fall and spring.
