Catalog description

Medical Math helps students build the mathematical skills necessary to be successful in the nursing program, some health science programs, and beginning science courses. Students utilize proportional reasoning and problem-solving strategies to address problems in context. Topics include units of measurement and dimensional analysis, formulas, percents, scientific notation, and medication dosages.
