Graphic Production focuses on the history of design production and the fundamentals of various contemporary commercial printing processes. The course emphasizes the proper preparation of electronic pre-press files for spot-color, multi-color, and process-color print production, the selection of printing papers, and effective communication with printing suppliers. It also covers design printing challenges, multi-page document preparation, and file preparation for electronic publication.
