Religion and Culture Seminar

Catalog description

The Religion and Culture Seminar builds knowledge of religion as a factor of human experience. Sections of this seminar draw from expertise in multiple religious traditions, historical periods, and geographic areas to develop expertise in religion as it is lived, practiced, imagined, and/or contested in human society and culture. Grounded in broadly qualitative methods, each section is developed around a topic or question that advances study of religion and culture through rigorous analysis and original research.
