Study of Cervantes’ masterpiece, Parts 1 & 2, with special attention to its literary form and structure. The term Spanish Golden Age, and the concept of the modern novel will be followed by a close textual reading of Don Quixote. A range of critical essays will enrich the study of the primary text.
