Refining Spanish Expression: Grammar & Composition

Catalog description

Continuation of both SPAN 2020 and SPAN 2030 . Course focuses on the development of effective writing skills in Spanish at the advanced level. Students engage in process writing in genres belonging to journalism, academic research, and creative writing. SPAN 3030 prepares students for upper-level classes in Spanish in literature, linguistics, and culture in which students need to articulate ideas with accuracy and sophistication, mindful of purpose and audience. SPAN 3030 may be taken concurrently with another 3000-level class beyond SPAN 2030 . Taught in Spanish.
