Catalog description

In this course, students will gain confidence and competence in understanding the ubiquity of quantitative data, theories, and applications in the social world. By the end of the course, students will understand what statistical techniques are most appropriate to answer a range of basic statistics from various sources including media, educational institutions, and academia. By learning the language of statistics, students learn a language of power. This classes teaches them how to use this language appropriately.
