This course serves as an in‑depth introduction to the neurological basis of human communication. Topics include: functional neuroanatomy of the central and peripheral nervous systems; basic principles of neurophysiology and neurochemistry; neural mechanisms supporting speech, language, and hearing; pathophysiological processes underlying neurological disorders affecting communication.
