Catalog description

Medical students will spend 4 weeks in our virtual child and adolescent psychiatry rotation primarily focusing on the intersectionality of digital media and mental health. The course will be two components. First, students will pick one topic, conduct a review of literature, draft a 2-3 page manuscript, and submit the draft several times for revisions. The draft will then be sent to several different potential publications for submission. Second, students will be asked to provide assistance in creating, editing, and submitting visual content for "PsychChild," our website that assists clinicians and parents in understanding digital media.
