Pediatric Endocrinology

Catalog description

This elective is designed to include broad clinical experience in pediatric endocrinology and diabetes. The student will have an opportunity to evaluate patients referred to Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital for consultation in the outpatient clinics. A conference to review referred patients, Endocrine and Diabetes team meetings, and a joint conference with the adult Endocrinology Division are held regularly. You may also have the opportunity to round with the inpatient team or evaluate inpatient consultations.
