Lecture and laboratory course on the application of light and electron microscopic techniques in biomedical research. Hands-on experience at the microscope and practical approaches to problem solving will be emphasized. The course includes practical aspects of light, fluorescence and confocal microscopy as well as transmission and scanning electron microscopy.
