Doctoral Capstone

This doctoral-level course builds on a student’s project proposal from PAED 6700 , the Doctoral Seminar. This course guides the students in the implementation of their capstone project. Students will evaluate and disseminate their findings, as well as have the opportunity to present their project and findings at appropriate professional settings, community, and conferences. This course continues to strengthen a student’s critical evaluation and application of advanced concepts in medical science, healthcare systems, policy, professional practice, and medical education. Through structured dialogue, scholarly writing, and peer engagement, students will refine the research question, conduct literature synthesis, implement a capstone project, analyze and interpret data from project implementation, and draft final components of the scholarly manuscript proposed in PAED 6700 , the Doctoral Seminar.
