Population Health

Catalog description

This doctoral course will examine population health as a framework for improving health outcomes across diverse communities. Students will explore social determinants of health, health equity and social justice, methods for community health assessment, implementation of population health programs and policies, and the role PAs can take in solving such problems. The course will emphasize evidence-based approaches to population health interventions and policy development.
