Neuroscience Laboratory and Scientific Writing

Catalog description

This course introduces to students basic neuroanatomy, and cellular, molecular, systems, and behavioral neuroscience through hands-on laboratory exercises using a variety of techniques such as neurophysiology, computational neuroscience, pharmacology, and cell culture. Students will design and conduct their own group projects and communicate their results in oral and written formats. This course will include multiple formats of discipline-specific writing, peer review, and science communication.
