Epilepsy and Electroencephalogram

Catalog description

This elective offers a focused experience in the diagnosis and management of epilepsy and related seizure disorders, with a strong emphasis on the role and interpretation of Electroencephalography (EEG) in clinical practice. Students will gain exposure to a wide spectrum of epilepsy syndromes, seizure types, and diagnostic and treatment modalities. The curriculum will combine clinical exposure with didactic learning, fostering a deep understanding of epilepsy and EEG in both theory and practice in both the inpatient and outpatient setting.
