Catalog description

This elective provides fourth-year medical students with an in-depth exposure to the field of interventional neurology. The course focuses on the diagnosis, management, and procedural techniques used in treating cerebrovascular diseases, including ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, cerebral aneurysms, and vascular malformations. Students will gain hands-on experience through clinical rotations, procedural observations, and case-based discussions. They will also engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with neurologists, neurosurgeons, and interventional radiologists to develop a comprehensive understanding of patient care in neurointervention.
