Beginning Class Music: Voice

Catalog description

Beginning students learn to sing in a group setting. Students are introduced to the elements of a musical sound (pitch, duration, and dynamics) and learn how those elements translate into musical notation for their instrument/voice. Much of the semester is spent learning and practicing technique and learning appropriate repertoire. Regular practice outside of class is required.
