Psychopharmacology

Catalog description

This is an introductory master's level course on psychopharmacology and medications for mental health diagnoses and conditions. Students will learn about the different medication classes and become familiar with evidenced-based practices used for combinations of medications and psychotherapy interventions for patients and families. Students will have course assignments and outcome papers to gain further knowledge in particular pharmacological treatments.
