Numerical Methods

Catalog description

Students will learn to develop numerical algorithms to solve engineering problems, which are generally nonlinear with no analytic solution. The algorithms are then implemented in programming languages such as MATLAB, Python, and other commercial engineering software. Problems of interest to Aerospace, Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Biomedical Engineering, and Applied Physics will be addressed.
