Role of Teaching and Feedback

Catalog description

Students will assist with teaching and feedback in various courses in the first and second year curriculum. Students can serve as small group facilitators in Applied Clinical Skills 1 and Death and Dying, provide feedback to students on their recorded patient interviews, and/or assist faculty in teaching the physical exam to second year students. Participation is a good method for reinforcing the clinical skills of history-taking, communicating with patients, and physical examination while also improving skills in teaching and feedback.
