Leadership in the Business of Medicine

Catalog description

As future leaders and professionals, medical students benefit from being exposed to core components of the US healthcare industry, business aspects of medical practice, and the ethical and fiduciary responsibilities of our profession related to these sectors. Grounded in the Mission and Values of the Saint Louis University School of Medicine, students in the class of 2023 will learn about the new curriculum through an Overview/Introductory presentation (Session 6). They will also participate in sessions 7 and 8 which involve panels of physician leaders from both inside and outside of the SLU environment.
