Mental Health and Spanish

Catalog description

The course is aimed at an interdisciplinary discussion of mental health in Spanish to serve students from diverse disciplines. It can be taken by students with a general interest in mental health, as well as those with specific aims to be mental health practitioners. The objective of the course is to guide students through philosophical, literary, and cultural concepts of mental health, as well as some practical aspects of mental healthcare, including mental health terminology. Students will improve oral, listening, reading, and writing skills in Spanish.
