Family Practice in an Urban Setting

Catalog description

The purpose of this elective is development of knowledge, attitudes and skills necessary to practice family medicine in an urban health center or private office setting. The focus of this elective is the care of the patient and family in the context of an urban community. Interested students should call before signing up. Periodically, teaching faculty are away at conferences/vacations, so a period may not be available.
