This course explores the complex topic of migration through the lenses of literature and film. Questions of migration rarely result in easy or straightforward answers. However, that is precisely why this topic merits attention. Through shared examination of literature and film, as well as reading and discussing scholarly articles in the social sciences, students will explore how the topic of migration can be addressed in multiple fields of study through collaborative research. Specific topics vary by instructor and semester.
