Catalog description

Teachers often report that one of the most challenging classroom skills to acquire is the ability to effectively provide for students who have complex or demanding behaviors. Teachers want their classroom to be an inviting and productive place for all to learn. Int his course Graduate Students will investigate theories of classroom management, culturally responsive teaching, and positive behavioral support and will apply these ideas to professional practices that support the behavioral needs of their students while establishing environments where all students learn.
