Catalog description

Leadership is needed to shape an inclusive higher education environment for all its stakeholders. This course delves into the type of leadership that is needed to achieve this charge of co-creating a more inclusive environment by incorporating theories, issues, trends in organization, administrative, and leadership practices within the field of higher education. The course emphasizes how a social justice perspective aids emerging formal and informal leaders in higher education to become change agents of systemic transformation prioritizing equity and inclusion. In doing so, emerging leaders will be introduced to practical ways to create a disability inclusive campus.
