Catalog description

The course introduces exploration of shallow subsurface using various geophysical methods of seismology, electrical resistivity, gravity, magnetic surveying, and ground-penetrating radar. Geologic, engineering, and environmental applications are emphasized throughout. Students will also get hands-on experiences of using different field instruments and processing data.
