Intro to Oceanography Lab

Catalog description

Laboratory meets for two hours per week and is designed to complement EAS-1450, Introduction to Oceanography. The lab is intended primarily for science majors with a strong interest in oceanography and earth systems. Course is designed to illustrate topics covered in lecture, including: plate tectonics, ocean sediments, physical and chemical properties of water, ocean currents, waves, tides, ocean environments and chart reading and navigation.
