Catalog description

This course introduces international and multilingual students to literary study within the context and theme of nation and identity. Through reading a variety of genres the course engages students in literary ways of knowing. In this special EAP section, readings focus on introducing international students to the contours and complications of American national identity through literature from the Civil War to the present.
