Learning Through Service

Catalog description

Learning Through Service provides students an opportunity to incorporate their current community engagement activities taking place beyond the campus with their learning in the University Core Curriculum. Through a series of online discussions and reflection activities, students will strengthen the connection between what they are learning on campus and what they are experiencing in the community. Please note - students must already have a regular volunteer site for this class - to receive permission to enroll, please complete this form: https://forms.gle/tM9sSC2k1XndBEoN7. This includes uploading a letter from your site (on site letterhead) verifying that you are a volunteer. The deadlines to complete this form are: August 15 for Fall, January 1 for Spring, and May 15 for Summer 8-Week Session A.
