Rewriting the College Classroom

Although society is changing rapidly, methods for teaching and learning in the college classroom often stay the same. Yet in this increasingly complex world, the question is not whether we should innovate but how, even at the University. This class invites you as a current college student to consider how you might be a positive force for curricular innovation in the college classroom. Through dialogue, writing, and research, you will explore the intersection of urgent societal issues and higher education as you formulate your own position on how best to confront these challenges in the college classroom. In collaboration with your peers, you will then curate a collection of resources that college professors can use to creatively and effectively educate college students in this moment in time. Ultimately, you will be a catalyst for change right here at Saint Louis University.
