Catalog description

In this podcasting class, we will learn how to develop creative and technical skills needed to independently produce a podcast. Students will wear the hat of a creative, producer, writer, broadcaster, social media manager, editor, and technical support for their podcasts. We will utilize software like Adobe Audition, Riverside.fm, Canva and social media platforms to produce and publish podcasts designed to engage a variety of audiences and contexts. Students will develop an idea for the podcast in the first three weeks, that they will work on for the entire semester.
