Chemistry 5620 is a one semester, graduate course that presents a comprehensive account of the structures and physical/chemical properties of biomolecules. The first part deals with the structure of biological macromolecules and the forces that determine this structure. The second part summarizes some of the techniques used in studying biological structure and function. The third part demonstrates how techniques and principles are used in concert to gain an understanding of the behavior and properties of biological macromolecules.
