Medicinal Chemistry

Catalog description

This course will provide the students with a comprehensive introduction to medicinal chemistry. Topics will include drug discovery, biological targets, drug-target interactions, drug structure optimization, drug metabolism, structure-based drug design, drug synthesis, and select specific drug classes. Lecture 3 hours/week. (Offered in Spring)
