Catalog description

This course is the second in a two sequence introductory chemistry course designed for Health Science students. This course covers organic and biochemistry. The goals of the course include the following:</br> • Students will learn fundamental concepts in organic and biochemistry and demonstrate mastery of the course material through quizzes, exams, Sapling tutorials, and homework assignments</br> • Students will learn to use electronic support systems to practice calculations and reinforce concepts. (Offered every Spring.)
