Catalog description

This course examines Pope Francis’ distinctive approach to politics and governance, considering both his own exercise of leadership in Argentina and Rome and how he has articulated his political philosophy in articles, addresses, papal documents, and the like. At the heart of his thought stands the goal of reform. How does he understand the reform process, both of society and of the Church, and the substantive ends to which it is ordered?
