This course introduces students to the methods used to develop an innovative, technology-based product or service in a competitive environment. Topics covered include the start-up mindset, disruptive innovation, lean development techniques, patents and other intellectual property, medical regulatory affairs, finance, venture capital, and company valuation and harvest.
