Catalog description

This course introduces students to medical sciences with an emphasis on major sub-specialties including hematology, microbiology, urinalysis, chemistry, immunology, and immunohematology. Identification and exploration of research opportunities and career options are also covered. Teaching modalities include lectures, case studies, and the use of laboratory data in the diagnosis of disease.
