Catalog description

In this course, students learn how to effectively design statistically informed experimental and observational studies in biology and related disciplines. The course covers the creation of a data management plan, version control, reproducibility, statistical analyses and data visualization. By the end of this course, students will understand how to: 1) design hypothesis-informed studies that directly relate to planned analyses, 2)deal with real-world data heterogeneity and implement appropriate analytical approaches, 3) manage and visualize data, 4) create reproducible analysis workflows.
