Catalog description

Sculpture is giving form meaning. It uses mass, volume, proportion, texture, and composition to create forms that express the values of the artist and their interpretation of the world. In this class, students use a subtractive process to produce sculpture by carving in plaster. Students will reference a variety of sources to explore vices, emotions and human form over a series of projects.
